About DanDan Wayne
DanDan Wayne is a taiwanese restaurant in Wayne, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 214 Sugartown Rd, Wayne, PA 19087, which places it among the local businesses of Wayne that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as sichuan restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Wayne; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Pennsylvania are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 AM–10:30 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (484) 580-8558. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, dandanrestaurant.com.
Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 1,041 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded taiwanese restaurants in Wayne.
Wayne is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Wayne follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Great food, service and atmosphere. We came back after we had our family Mother’s Day lunch here. We shared 3 dishes, cold beef and trip in hot flavorful oil. Eggplant in garlic sauce, and dry pepper chicken. All were good. Prepare to get a lot of rice to sop up the sauce from the cold beef and trip and the garlic sauce from the eggplant.

I went here for dinner with my husband on a Friday, and it was quite busy, but we had a reservation, so we didn’t have to wait at all. Definitely recommend making a reservation beforehand. The atmosphere was really nice. The staff were super helpful when we ordered, giving us recommendations and all. Once we placed the order, the food arrived really quickly. The drinks were great—we got a mango mint refresher and a peach iced tea. Then we had chicken potstickers and General Dan’s chicken, which came with a cup of rice, chicken fried rice and spicy & sour shredded potatoes. Everything tasted really delicious. We’re planning to visit again soon. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Chinese food!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ DanDan Wayne continues to deliver some of the best Asian food in the Philadelphia region. Part of the DanDan trifecta — Ardmore, Wayne, and Rittenhouse Square — this Main Line location was absolutely PACKED on a Sunday night in February. The bar was full, the dining room was buzzing, and the energy was strong from the moment we walked in. We started at the bar — a beautiful natural wood top with warm lighting and a lively crowd. The cocktail program is excellent. The margaritas were fresh, balanced, and perfectly salted. Here’s exactly what we ordered: • Gold Bunapi Mushrooms • Black Pepper Fish • Snow Pea Leafs with Garlic • Dry Pot Chicken • Flying Noodles with Beef • Dumplings in Chili Oil • Dan Dan Noodles – rich, savory, and perfectly balanced • Pork Belly Bao Buns – soft, fluffy, and packed with flavor • Soup Dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) – delicate, juicy, and textbook perfect Every dish came out hot, flavorful, and beautifully executed. The spice levels were authentic and layered without overpowering the ingredients. The Dry Pot Chicken brought real depth and heat. The Black Pepper Fish was bold and aromatic. The Flying Noodles presentation is impressive and the tex

AMAZING! We got the Scallion pancakes, Chicken fried rice, Kung Pao chicken, and Green beans with pork. We got a 3 spice level and then a 5. We were surprised the spice level was accurate. Usually places say how “spicy” their food is but it’s usually not to my spice level. The 5 was good.

DanDan truly went above and beyond from the planning process through our marriage signing celebration. The team was incredibly organized, responsive, and so easy to work with. A huge thank you to Rong, who was absolutely amazing—professional, attentive, and made everything feel effortless from start to finish. The day itself was flawless. The staff coordinated seamlessly with our florist for a smooth setup and breakdown, anticipated our needs, and kept everything running perfectly. And the food—WOW. It was absolutely amazing, and every single guest raved about how much they loved it. DanDan treated our celebration like it was their own, and we couldn’t be more grateful. An unforgettable experience and highly recommended for any special occasion! Thank you so much.
